Cryogenic Heat Treatment
This process slowly decreases the knife temperature to -300°F, and then brings it back up to room temperature again, allowing the knife to stay sharper longer and decrease fracturing chipping.

SOG Assisted Technology™
S.A.T. works through the balance of opposing high-tension coil springs, resulting is a blade that springs open instantly once it is engaged, seemingly on its own.

The Arc-Lock™
With its ambidexterity, the Arc-Lock has been tested at over 1000 lbs. of force, far surpassing conventional lock strength, while spring-action securely retains blade closed, keeping fingers safe.

Compound Leverage™
Compound Leverage technology employs multiple pivot points that generate greater handle travel, resulting in a leverage advantage of approximately twice the power of a conventional multi-tool.

Double Tooth Saw – Rotating Blade

Saw Back
SOG’s innovative Saw Back technology comes equipped with a real working saw on the back of the blades with teeth that cut deep, allowing greater efficiency for use in the most demanding scenarios.

San Mai Stainless Steel
San mai is layered steel that contains a very hard core steel that is encased in softer, resilient outer layers. Its advantages are in having a blade with an extremely hard edge but that can be flexible as well.

Automatic technology is equipped with a folding or sliding blade contained inside of the handle, which is opened automatically by a spring when a button, lever or switch on the handle or bolster is activated.

Premium VG-10 Japanese steel is specially designed for high-quality blades used in cutlery, can be sharpened to a fine edge that is very durable, and can maintain its hardness without becoming brittle.
